President Uhuru Kenyatta has said terrorist attacks must come to an end as Kenyan Somali community entered into a pact with the Government to play an active role in combating terrorism.

The President’s stand that terrorists targeting innocent Kenyans must be stopped by all means and was also echoed by Deputy President William Ruto.

The two leaders spoke at State House, Nairobi, where they had a lengthy meeting with members of the Eastleigh Business Community and elected leaders including Majority Leader Aden Duale.

Also present was Garissa Senator Yussuf Haji and  Kamukunji MP Yussuf Hassan, who was a victim of a terrorist attack, came in crutches and engaged in the consultations though he strained from the injuries he sustained from the 2012 grenade attack.

The business leaders said they would form a team comprising businessmen, youth, women and religious leaders to identify those involved in criminal activities.
